I graduated from the University of Florida and earned my J.D. at Duke University. In the past 24 years, I have been admitted to six Bars; today I practice in Utah, Florida, Illinois and Texas. I have 17 years experience as corporate counsel and extensive experience in complex commercial litigation in areas such as shareholder, partnership and employee disputes, commercial agreements (buy-sell, NDA and non-compete), and contract disputes. In addition, I have several years of experience in estate and trust disputes. Since 2005 I have served as an Arbitrator. In 2012 I completed formal mediation training.
I began practicing Social Security Disability Law six years ago after losing my mother to a long battle with Breast Cancer, Retinal Cancer and Mesothelioma. For twenty- five years my mother was neither insurable, nor eligible for Disability benefits. I myself have been through several health challenges. Because of these challenges I have had, I can truly empathize with my Disability clients, and therefore have become a better lawyer.
